5kg

I just added another resolution to 2010. Gain 5kg within the first half of the year. If successful, gain another 3kg in the second half. If I fail part 1, then.. sigh, see how. It's quite exciting cos I've never been that heavy before, well, not very heavy but rather I wonder how it is to reach that particular number on the weighing scale. It reminds me of my younger days when my sister and I would weigh ourselves periodically and then in the spur to become bigger, would stand together on the weighing scale and see our combined weight, haha.

Like Huandao, I was heaviest during ns, but after that, when the exercise stopped, bit by bit I became lighter :( I weighed myself again a few days ago and was astounded by the digital numbers that appeared.. which led to my sudden motivation to gym again. Gym is quite boring really, made worse by the fact that I have to consciously eat more meat in order to gain mass..

So 2 days ago I headed to the gym and sure enough, I couldn't lift the weights I could in the past :( so sad, 不要紧,慢慢来. And even in church today my arms and chest were still feeling very sore. Can't let my arms hang too straight down, can't lift my arms high enough to scratch my ear, (which means I have to lower my head) my elbows can't reach one another, have difficulty opening my water bottle etc.

Why do I torture myself right? Yup but people keep telling me, initially it was 你是不是瘦了？Which progressed to 你有没有吃东西啊？Then it was 你越来越瘦, and then 你太瘦了! or you're too skinny la! Well, I don't know if it is my fault, I wonder sometimes if they think I want to be this thin. But then those who know me would definitely know my, hmm, I wouldn't call it gargantuan appetite, but still quite big nonetheless.

I’m reading a 问题解答 book by 唐崇荣牧师 and some of his answers are really amusing. The persons who asked questions 11 and 12 are quite weird. I was reading question 15 and thought that Caixia laoshi would be delighted if she knew this. Dr Tong started by saying 扫地？ These are just a few questions in the book. I haven't finished yet but I'm already a bit blur, but still, interesting and humorous.
