teh tarik

bundong, cookies and cream, black forest, ping-pong milo... These are just some flavors that are stuck in my head now after one day of scooping ice cream and serving mud-pies at island creamery. Well, the good thing about this job is that staring at ice creams is not as boring as looking at the computer, I get to eat the ice cream, waffles and brownies, and it’s near my house :) But on the down side, I don’t get to work every day of the week.

My sister looks plumper now :) My family was very worried the last time she came back because she was so thin. At least now she says she forces herself take in more calories. I'm really looking forward to June because my brother and sister are coming back. It has been two years since we had a family reunion, and I never really appreciated everyone's presence until now. And better still, my brother has accepted Christ so 我们会有更大的"感染力", haha. I just hope that my parents will not over react when they know about this, but realize that our God is a living God.

I'm currently reading Exodus and there are many things to absorb in every chapter that I think one of my 2010 resolutions; finish the Old Testament, may not be fulfilled. I'm using a set of notes published by BSF International, and it has made reading the first five books less difficult as it links the prophets, New Testament writers and ultimately Jesus together. I think it'll be more exciting after I read the Bible more and be able to see how Genesis, all the way to Revelation are closely knitted.

Reminder: Every minute of the holidays is extremely precious, so use it constructively.
