Coincidentally there was no fellowship last sat, so I was able to play this shooting game with my classmate’s cell group. My thighs are still aching from all the running, shows how long I haven been sprinting. It’s somewhat similar to paint ball, except that the gun uses lasers rather than paint ball. It gets funny at times cos I’m being shot at but I have no clue who is shooting at me, haha.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on Sunday for a couple of reasons :) stayed back for a while to practice singing for the coming youth rally, then helped to decorate 大堂 with butterflies :) Ting En has really put in a lot of effort in the promoting the rally by making so many caterpillars, cocoons and butterflies. Now 大堂 looks a bit like a butterfly museum, haha. I’ll definitely take a few photos next week if I remember to. Even though it was raining very heavily at that time, I felt so contented being able to help out together with a few youths while the band was providing (practicing) nice hymns in the background. I guess it’s the feeling of everyone working towards a common goal that makes me happy :) However, it’d be a pity if not many non believers were invited to the rally.

As the rain continued to pour heavily, I found myself alone in church together with Qing Hao uncle and James. While waiting for the rain to stop, I had a fruitful chat session with James :) Then we headed down to novena for dinner before we met up with our 小组; we decided to meet up for ice cream since we got $30 for the Paul project :) Feel a tinge of 不舍now that I’m no longer in that group… but it’s ok, cos I’m in a new group now! It’s rare for most people to turn up cos everyone is busy with either work or exams, but ultimately most of us could make it :) And it’s more uncommon we could borrow James from Kai Sing, haha.

The ice cream was certainly appetizing, especially rums and raisin, haha, but the company was way better :) We discussed about how Christians should differentiate ourselves from others so they can tell that we are God’s children, and how we could apply them in our daily lives through practical methods. For all these that happened on Sunday, I’m truly thankful to God for placing brothers and sisters in Christ around me, so that we can encourage and learn from one another. It was ever more evident that night that everyone is growing in God's words :) May we all be “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1 Peter 2:2-3

On my way back home, I kept humming this tune from a song we sing quite often and that I like, but can’t remember its name except for this line: 且我也要感谢主赐下弟兄和姐妹, 他们成为我生命的祝福... 感谢主。

耶和华万军之神阿,我得着你的言语就当食物吃了。你的言语是我心中的欢喜快乐,因我是称为你名下的人。耶15:16
